SADC / SADCAS signs Memorandum of Understanding on 23 April 2009 in Gaborone, Botswana

The 2008 annual SADC SQAM meetings were held in Cape Town, South Africa [View Report]. The meeting was officially opened by the South African Minister of Trade and Industry, the honourable Mr Mandisi Mpahlwa. At this time Certificates of Appreciation were also awarded to five recipients who are the late Mrs Beatrice Mutabazi, Dr Mukayi Musarurwa, Dr Franz Hengstberger, Mrs Gabriela da Silva and Mr Donald Masuku. Mr Ekelege, current Director of TBS received the certificate of the late Mrs Mutabazi, Mr Singh of NMISA received the certificate on behalf of Dr Musarurwa and Mrs Teodora Silva received the certificate on behalf of Mrs Gabriela da Silva.
