The African Accreditation Cooperation (AFRAC), has at its 7th General Assembly today launched the AFRAC E-Learning Programme. The Programme brings together knowledge of Accreditation, Conformity Assessments and Mutual Recognition Arrangements in one user-friendly, easily and freely accessible platform available online via the AFRAC website. Vacancy-Lead Assessor for Medical Labs: SADCAS

The Southern African Development Community Cooperation in Accreditation’s (SADCA) main objective is to build capacity in accreditation in the SADC region, with the ultimate goal of sustaining an internationally recognised and acceptable Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA). At the 16th SADCA General Assembly Meeting which was held in Lilongwe, Malawi on 22 March 2012, the General Assembly elected the Technical Committee (TC) Chair, Mr Davlin Chokazinga (MBS).

The objective of the SADCA TC is to maintain and implement the policies, rules and procedures governing SADCA’s technical work. SADCA Members are hereby requested to nominate a representative to participate in this Committee. It is expected that each organisation will support the participation of the nominated representatives, including travel and accommodation arrangements; however the Secretariat will endeavour to secure funding where possible.

Kindly complete the <attached form> with the details of the nominated representative and his/her deputy (where applicable) and return it to the SADCA Secretariat at your soonest convenience.

The objective of the MRA Committee is to implement and maintain the policies and procedures of SADCA’s MRA.
